Stop Repossession Solutions Commonly asked Questions and Answers

 

 

  1. How long does it take to sell my house? SRS Properties will act as quickly as possible and as long as you provide all the necessary paperwork required it can take as little as 5 – 10 days.
  2. How quickly after the sale will I receive the money and how? You will receive the money as early as 24hrs after the solicitors confirms sale is completed.  Our Solicitors will pay you directly into your bank account or by bankers draft.
  3. What costs would I have? None.  Stop Repossession Solutions will pay all the legal and survey fees.
  4. How do you base your evalution? The offer we make you on your house is based on estate agents evalution, other house sold within your area and also we bespoke every deal at SRS Properties therefore depending on what your looking for from us i.e. quick sale or renting back etc will depend on the offer made.
  5. If I rent do I have to pay you a deposit? NO, as the sale is going through we will also have a legally binding rental contract drawn up of which there is no need for a deposit.
  6. How much is the rent? This is based on current rental market valuations, however depending on how long you are looking to rent for will also depend on this. We aim to ensure the deal is favourable to your needs.
  7. What is the minimum time I can rent back for? You will have to sign for a minimum term of 6 months if you wish to rent back.
  8. What is the maximum time I can rent back for? You can stay for as long as you want . Stop Repossession Solutions really is committed to long term rent back agreements as long as you pay your rent.
  9. What do I pay for when I rent? Your monthly agreed rent and then you will be responsible for council tax, gas/elec and water bills.  Telephone bills and any extras you may wish to install at the house.  This is standard when renting any house or flat.
  10. Who will be responsible for the maintenance of the house? SRS Properties will be responsible for structutral repairs as well as emergency call outs for gas, electrics, plumbers etc.  You, as the tenant will be responsible for keeping the property in good condition, again this is standard when renting.
  11. Can my family stay in the house if I pass away? Yes but we will need for them to sign a new tenancy agreement in their name.
  12. Does anyone need to know I have sold my house? NO, we have no boards and offer a very discret service, the only people who do know are the solicitors and SRS Properties, and that’s on a need to know basis.
  13. Do you buy property in any condition? Yes.  Many of the properties we buy do need some improvement.
  14. I am in financial difficulties and I am worried about losing my house. Can you Help? YES, many people are in the same situation as yourselves and we help everyday, as long as you have some equity in the property you can sell it and rent it back or sell it to move on.
  15. I am being threatened with eviction can you help? YES.  We can stop evictions even with only a few hours notice, however it helps all of us with a little more notice.
  16. How much will you pay me for my house? We will pay you based on the current market value rates which can be upto 80%
  17. What happens when I become a tenant? At the completion of our purchase of your house, we will offer you  “Assured Shorthold Tenancy”, which is the standard form of lease used for private lettings in the UK.
